Chocolate Nougat and Cacao Nib Cookie Dragées
These dragées merge dark chocolate and cherry; a pair that will take your taste buds to Black Forest Cake.
To make them, Chef Melissa Coppel transforms one of her favorite confections, nougat, into fudgy chocolate cubes with dried cherry inclusions.
She then covers them with a rich cacao nib cookie paste, for rustic, crunchy decadence.
The final touch in these dragées comes from 70% dark chocolate.
