To make them, Chef Melissa Coppel transforms one of her favorite confections, nougat, into fudgy chocolate cubes with dried cherry inclusions.

She then covers them with a rich cacao nib cookie paste, for rustic, crunchy decadence.

The final touch in these dragées comes from 70% dark chocolate.

This combination exalts all the best flavors of that decadent, classic cake while adding a fun, snackable way to indulge.
